The guy nails it.  It’s all about appearing to be the strong horse in that part of the world.  The people will only follow the strong horse, they have seen too often what happens to the weak one.

Someone should have explained this to Clinton in the 90s; everytime we engaged in a place half-heartedly and then left, these guys got more followers and more prestige.

UBL called America a paper tiger, and he was right.  Those days are gone, and he’s now looking for a new marketing plan.  Maybe he can drum up support for his jihad by demonizing Israel, but much like network news, you won’t hear him talking about Iraq much any more.
