What exactly is it that “journalists” don’t get about war? I am embaressed for this person. Too bad she isn’t.

Embarrassed? I bet she’s proud of herself.  At least she would have been had W. not smacked her down so hard.

These days, when I see W. at a press conference, I can’t help but think about how much I’m gonna miss him when he’s no longer in the White House.

Damn straight! Mark my words.  The day will come
when even blithering partisan and combative idiots like Martha Raddatz will long for Pres. George W. Bush and miss his fortitude and moral conviction to do the right thing to protect US.

George W. Bush has more guts and honor in his fingernail than anyone in the us congress.

I guess that’s my worry with McCain (let alone Obama or Clinton), that we’ll be back to having a pure politician in the White House.  I don’t want a politician, I want an idealogue.  Even if I disagree with the President on a number of issues, as long as a strong sense of ideology is there, then I know some principle will be guiding decisions alongside political calculations.

With McCain, I’ll know he’ll do a lot more than Bush for political expediency.  At least he’ll be solid on the war (being overly optimistic), or at least much more solid than either of his Democratic rivals.
