Their saving grace: Lazy MSM! They bought their schtick and ran with it. MSNBC-the Obama Channel has a full time anchor who gets a tickle up his foot every time he speaks about Obama- this si after 8 years of defending the White House grifters-Clintons - they threw her off board, all they want her is to leave yesterday!

Hmmm....well I don’t know about all that but I’d have to agree that it’s an opportunity lost. 

Just when you start thinking, “my goodness, I can’t believe she’s pulling off this comeback” this stuff comes out. 

Hillary pretty much can’t win, but since there’s the tiniest sliver of hope, she’s staying in...which does nothing but good for McCain and the Republicans.

I seem to be the only remaining person (except for those that are working for her) who believes HRC will, finally, secure the Dem nomination. I’m sure you’ve heard all the recent talking-head babble predicting a future debacle/disaster at the Denver convention where Obama supporters will mutiny at the prospect of paid-off SuperDelegates throwing the thing to HRC and “stealing” the nomination away from him, (Ironically much in the same way the Dems still cling fondly to the conceit that the election in 2000 was stolen from them by the Bush Cabal.
I have felt that the bloom started leaving the OBama rose long before Rev. Wright came into the picture---"Obama in his own words” is damning enough, but there are obviously things he’s said that Hillary can’t touch---many mutual things they’re both guilty of that would be counterproductive for either of them to make an issue of---so that responsibility falls to the (R) forces on the other side of the aisle. Meanwhile, the RINO McCain seems to think he has only to look sober, serious, and ready for action to earn him the Presidency. He may be right. But it’s nerve-wracking to see him biding his time like this, even if it is for the sake of slowly building the image he can use with the public over the next several months.REMEMBER THIS---about a year ago, the smart money said the likely nominees looked like Hillary and McCain. After watching McCain evaporate in the public consciousness in the ensuing months, and Hillary seem dominant until recently getting smothered by the Obama Phenomenon, I think we are going to return to the old received wisdom and it’ll be HRC vs. McCain. And she won’t have to do anything terribly dirty or illegal to get there.

Poor Hillary, the media has turned on her. Obama only survives because of the active media handling by the mainstream media to protect him.

Consider the Wright issue. The bias is clear. First they minimized the connection, then they obfuscated on the real issue - the issue is patriotism, not race - Obama attended an explicitly afro-centric “Africa is our Homeland” Black Liberation Theology steeped-in-black-panther Anti-American rhetoric church. Rev Wright’s “God d8mn America” is just a soundbite that represents his agenda and worldview, and Obama, rather than disowning it, threw his “typical white person” Grandma under the bus in a false equivalence with Rev Wright’s dreadful views. Any ‘typical white person’ should be offended by his gratuitous slap and attempt to curry white guilt.

Of course Obama’s speech was a good speech: He deflected the real question of why he’d sit in the pews of an anti-American church for 20 years, and turned it into a discussion of race (again, that’s *not* the issue, but of course the media will help protect Obama by making every critique of Obama seem to be about race). And the liberal editorial boards across the nation willingly fell for the sham and praised his misdirection to the skies.

Obama’s eloquence has merely masked rather than answered the concerns. He will get by with a lot of help from his media handlers, but the fact is this: Obama is a doctrinaire far left-liberal Senator with practically no serious experience, a history of associating with extremists, radicals and marxists - including his pastor but many others, and a campaign based on selling a plagiarized concept that won Deval Patrick his race in 2006. Check out Deval Patrick now - a big letdown, because ‘hope’ and ‘change’ are vacuos and empty concepts that just fool people into wish-fulfillment voting.

Obama’s success so far is a huge testament to the power of style over substance, media bias over informed citizenship, and marketing hype over qualifications. God protect this country if we are foolish enough to elect such an unqualified extremist.

Given all this, I can understand Hillary’s frustration. Sorry Hillary .. they just DONT LIKE YOU.

Mr. Warren Buffet, a much admired investor chose to fund both Democratic candidates. He feels that certain reforms (I agree with him) are urgent and the Republicans do not have “the firece urgency of now” (another Omamba slogan)...So here is the American Crasus, who represents smart money and I cannot agree with him on the person, but confirm his ideas. I could trust him with my money but not with his political choices.

If you checked on CNBC they ran an interview with the leading sloganeer Obama, and his economic policies today. Mostly patitude from a fast talking Leftist jive artist.

She is advised by real flunkies, one example is the X Treasury Boss who presided over the collapse of Citibank, it takes a genius to wreck a fortune of over 100 billion and burn it to the ground, than hold the cup for the Arabs to hand in some cash to keep them afloat, a real disgrace to the nation and its institutes and he is still there collecting an annual salary of close to 30 million dollars for operating the wrecking ball..

Therefore, I am prepared to live with the lesser attractive , lesser popular and sentimental choice with a man who swore to serve, 3 generations of loyalty to the nation, not to outside ideology, worshipping the slain ghosts of failed Socialism.
We are in a state of war, which in my humble opinion will last a full generation. It is no time to monkey around with new experiments - flunkies like Jimmy Carter, Robert Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton (a draft dodger) or Al Gore. The nation needs a steady hands at the top, not cheap slogans and promises, no one intends to fulfill..

It’s sad, really, that a seasoned cynic/skeptic such as I , can still yet manage to get “into” this whole damned
microanalysis of 3 separate entities like JMc C,
HRC and BHO.,who in many ways are all basically the same person, or “breed” of politician. You have the Republican, one of whose selling points is his ability to “reach across the aisle” to “work with” people who have no intention of “working with” real conservatives, then you have the “above-the-race” candidate
whose calling card , associations and influences are slowly revealed (like a photo slowly developing in a darkroom bath)
to be about nothing but race, and from both him and his wife , the most tiresome kind of cliches about “stereotypes” that they are going to be committed to overturning in order to help all us retrograde ‘typical white people’, and THEN you have a pretender who promotes the idea that she actually has the very quality that is the only thing the R candidate can point to, even though she’s been throwing it in the inexperienced Obama’s face. This is where all our “focus” is going: we are once again and forevermore spectators at an incalculably expensive “National Entertainment” which struts and frets its endless hour upon the stage , signifying not much, not much at all. And all we can do is watch, and “take sides”.

Keep in mind that during the 2004 journey to the White House, the issues fell by the wayside and were utterly consumed by a clever Swiftboat media management that discredited and crippled the poseur-gigolo JFKerry, while sucking all the air out of the scandal with the national Guard-fabricated papers, which in my opinion were part of a well planned sting job, gratis for the Quid Quo Pro question posed to Daddy Bush (once upon a time he ran the Agency!) when challenging tank-driver Dukakis. When the $1 million wife of a candidate says she is proud of her country for the first time since he made it to the top in all the small states where Democrats seldom win...or the hateful pastor, or the lies on Bosnia, these are all revealing issues, but the real agenda is being sidelined for great sensations, scandals, news-breaks.....it can only work for JMC with Romeny (?) both are more of a steady Eddy (?)
