It has been said that MSNBC has gone from a general news and politics network to, basically, working for the Obama campaign. Until recently, though, that has only been said in conservative circles. Now, we have Bill Maher ripping on their coverage of the DNC (via NewsBusters).
Note to executives at MSNBC...if Bill Maher is ripping on you for being too liberal, you should rethink your strategy.
And in other news, Eleanor Clift of Newsweek declares that not only was McCain’s pick a transparent ploy to get the woman vote, but it was met with “literally laughter” in “many newsrooms.” If that doesn’t say “out of touch with reality,” I don’t know what does:
Blech.
Eleanor Clift is a nasty- old bitch - and that’s from one woman to another. She is still “dining out” as the sister-in-law of Montgomety Clift. Big deal!
The sooner she retires to the Home, as Johnny Carson used to call it, the better. She is an over-the-hill liberal who has seen better days - maybe. And I hope she reads this but I doubt she will.
