Gloves Off or What?

After taking an absolute pounding the past few weeks, the McCain campaign seems to finally understand that they’re going to have to go after Obama if they want to win.  Fortunately, Obama is vulnerable on so many fronts, most notably his past associations (can you say, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Tony Rezko), that the McCain team can pick their shots.  Unfortunately, they may have waited too long, and aren’t doing a good enough job exposing Obama for the radical that he truly is.

Sarah Palin finally got things started over the weekend at a campaign event in Carson, CA:

Her comment has finally pushed this story into the MSM, now the campaign needs to use the opportunity to nail Obama and expose his radicalism to the country.

UPDATE:  The Obama campaign has now responded, unbelievably, by saying that Obama was not aware of Ayers’ terrorist past when he associated himself with the former Weather Underground leader.  See their post here.  This strange line of argument could be a big mistake by the Obama campaign.

Hot Air has a great post on this as well, here.

Just like I thought, the republicans blew their wad on this stuff back in the spring and earlier.  There is nothing else for them to talk about… I also think it is kind of dumb for the campaign to do this because it is to easy for the other side to start pointing out the crazy end of days shit from her church; also if they ever talk about the weather underground that Obama never was a part of then we will hear about Palin being directly associated with a separatist movement.  Either way, like I said this stuff is old news and demonstrates the McCain/Palin tickets lack of any real dirt to hit Obama with.

OBama is a radical, plain and simple.  His association with a domestic terrorist is par for the course.  After Palin and McCain talk about his pal Ayers, they can then acquaint the American people with Obama’s adulation of Rev. Wright, a few Black Panthers, among others. The American people do not yet know Mr. Obama, but I would like to think that the month of October will feature a long, surprising, introduction.

P.S.  The “crazy end of days” shit from Palin’s church is usually referred to as The Book of Revelations, shmuck.

Helmut,

Sorry bud, you’re wrong on that.  This is old news?  This has not been news at all, and that’s because of a concerted effort on the part of the MSM.  It’s starting to come out, and they can’t fight it.

Schmuck?  Ahh that feels good, you know you are on to something when your opponent regresses to name calling.  Anyways, revelations or otherwise check this article out and tell me that crazy people don’t show up at her church just like crazy people are at Obama’s church…

Assaf,
What about this from march, cnn, this is pretty msm.
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/19/obama.interview/index.html
And that is six months ago.
I even said the republicans are blowing their wad on an earlier post on this website.  Perhaps its perception on my part but we have been here before...and I think that this will not win an election.
